Went out for husbands birthday dinner. We had a great time. He had the duck and said it was seasoned with something he really liked. My salad was fresh. Pork belly app was delish. Good wine and beer selection too.
Came here for my sister’s birthday and we had a great experience! The food was tasty and the waitresses were very nice and attentive. Loved the outdoor seating, especially all the plants! We had the creme brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert - fantastic!! The raclette plate was so good too! Everyone loved their meals and we had a wonderful time. My only complaint was that the wait time for the food was a bit long, but you could tell everything was fresh, so it was well worth the wait!
The Peppered Pig is our favorite restaurant!!! The food is always consistently delicious and perfectly seasoned and the cocktails are bomb, especially the espresso martini! Burgers and steaks are cooked to your desired temperature every time!!! The quiche is unbelievably fluffy and the crème brûlée is perfection. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out!!!
Went for brunch on a Sunday at noon, able to sit quickly, great service. Amazing unique food done so well. Would take my family from out of town here. Would go again and even to try their dinner menu which looks good too.
A must dine! A frequently passed over/traveled by spot, the Peppered Pig is not what it appears to be from the road. Inside it is quaint and charming and made the perfect spot for a cozy brunch date. The service was excellent and the food was yummy. We had the quiche Lorraine and eggs Benedict, both were good. Looking forward to returning and trying more items from the lunch/dinner menu!
Most of the food was good. If you like mushrooms I highly recommend their mushroom toast. The only thing that would make it better is if the eggs on top were warm instead of cold. We ordered a bunch of shareable dishes and we enjoyed them all other than the Mac and cheese. It was quite watery and the onions were quite thick. Everything else was delish!
Great little bistro-style restaurant with excellent food, interesting menu choices, and a small but thoughtfully arranged dining area. The menu has enough variety to make things interesting. Everything we tried was delicious, and the portions and presentation were wonderful. The service was also excellent. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and happy to talk through the menu and offer recommendations, which made the experience feel easy and enjoyable. I would definitely go back and bring friends.
My husband and I recently moved to the Penfield/Webster area. Coming from living downtown, I was a bit worried about not having as many great dinner spots near us. Luckily we found The Peppered Pig and it has become our go-to date spot. The food is always excellent and the service is always super friendly. We have had only good experiences here and recommend it to all of our friends.
This was our first visit but it definitely will not be our last! The food was delicious and hot (that is very important to my husband). The service was excellent from the moment we entered the bar and then throughout the dinner experience! The staff made great suggestions for entrees, they did not steer us wrong. I had the quiche Lorraine, it was so smooth and creamy, it melted in my mouth. We shared a bread pudding for dessert, highly recommend it!!! We had a party of 8 that we go out monthly with and this was not an issue for them. We all enjoyed our meals and we did not feel rushed. We will be returning!! Thank you to the entire team at Peppered Pig!
The food was incredible!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how delicious it was! The French onion soup mac and cheese was out of this world! Perfect flavors of both French onion soup and mac and cheese, and rather than macaroni it was spaetzel! Which is one of my favorite foods— a very pleasant surprise! The ham used in the croque Monsieur was so flavorful. The steak frites was cooked perfectly medium as ordered and the fries were excellent. Then there was the crème brûlée! Perfect warm brûlée top with a great crunch when broken with the spoon (IYKYK) and the actual custard was spot on with a complexity of flavors in a simple dish— actual vanilla bean flecks, a little salt, creamy with a rich consistency, very well balanced. Our server Jessica was a pleasure and took great care of us! Can’t wait to return!
